Deitra Lynn Tyson, born on July 29, 1964, departed this life on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Deitra was the daughter of the late Nathaniel Tyson, Sr. and Shirley Ann Tyson. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters, Shanique Rochester (Peter) and Desiree Tyson; her sister, Alvetta L. Spencer (Arthur); her brothers, Nathaniel Tyson, Jr. (Nakeea) and Michael Tyson; her grandchildren: Naszaire and Asia Rochester, Skyler and London Nichols; her uncles, Prince and Darnell Parker; aunt, Flora Walker; her nieces: Latoia, Lateisha, Nauteeka, Zeasia and Samaria; nephews: Antonio (Annie), Nathaniel, III, Isaac, and Jaquan. In addition to her parents, Deitra was predeceased by her loving partner Royal "Casey", her grandmother, Doris Parker and her uncles, Ronnie and Walter, her niece, Whitney and nephew, Robert. Deitra loved watching Lifetime Movies with her sister and listening to oldies music and she treasured her grandchildren so much. She was the life of the party, and she will forever have a place in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure to meet her.
