Diane "DiCosimo" Dobruck

Diane (DiCosimo) Dobruck, 68, of New Britain, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday (July 25, 2025) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. A New Britain native, she was daughter of the late Geno and Ida (Renzoni) DiCosimo and lived in New Britain most of her life. Diane was a graduate of Pulaski High School, Class of 1974, and worked as an EMT for New Britain EMS for about 10 years. She was also a CNA for many years, and later worked as part of facilities management at Wellspring Church in Kensington before retiring in 2014. Surviving is her son, Jason DiCosimo and his wife Yvonne of Merrimack, NH; two daughters, Jessica Fillback and her husband Peter of Portland and Emily Dobruck of New Britain; her sister, Jeanne Grass of Wells, VT; six grandchildren, Jason Lesick, Peter and Katelynn Fillback, Ethan Harner, Jacob and James DiCosimo; and several nieces and nephews including Susan Richardson and Peter Grass. Diane was predeceased by her sister, Martha DiCosimo. A celebration of Diane's life will be held on August 17, 2025 at 5:30pm at Wellspring Church, 222 Lincoln Street, Kensington, followed by a reception in the café at Wellspring. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (www.michaeljfox.org) in memory of Diane's sister, Martha, or to the Connecticut Breast Health Initiative (www.ctbhi.org) in memory of Diane's mother, Ida.
