Dianne Marie Kurko

Dianne Kurko, 76, of Newington, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Paul Kurko for 48 years. Born in Weiden, Germany, daughter of Anthony Blazukas and Helen (Svirkauskaite) Blazukas. Dianne had a smile and laugh that made everyone feel warm and welcome. She was kind and generous to everyone she met, often sacrificing her needs for others. Dianne's life was defined by her deep love for animals and nature. She provided a loving home to many cats over the years, sponsored dogs, and gave generously to animal welfare and environmental groups. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Michael Kurko, and his wife, Marianna; her grandson, Eliah Kurko; her sister, Aldonna "Allie" Procaccini; two nieces, Jaime Procaccini, for whom she was a beloved godmother, and Becky LaGrange and her husband, Brandon; as well as Jaime's children, Tyler Procaccini and his wife, Taylor, and their son, Cameron, and Ember Savino; and Becky and Brandon's children, Xavier and Grayson. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, September 6, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Duksa Family Funeral Homes, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington.
