Dolores Marie Kadar

Waterbury, CT Dolores Marie Kadar "Loving wife, mother & grandmother" Dolores Marie (Garcia) Kadar, age 67, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Norwalk Hospital after a long battle with heart and kidney disease. She was the beloved wife of John Kadar for 40 years. Dolores was born on April 9, 1957 in Bridgeport, CT, daughter of the late Manuel and Henrietta (Tirelli) Garcia. She was a 1975 graduate of Bassick High School. Before having her children and becoming a wonderful homemaker, Dolores worked for Valley Bank and Citytrust Bank. She was a long time volunteer at St. Lucy's Church and she enjoyed going to the ocean with her family. Besides her husband of Waterbury, CT, Dolores is survived by her children, Nicole Kadar-Greene and her husband, Jayson of Queens, NY, Stephen Kadar of Waterbury, CT, 3 grandchildren, Quintyn and Kayden Greene and Armani Jordan Kadar. She also leaves her brother and nephews, Griffin and Camden Garcia. Arrangements: Calling hours for Dolores will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 3:00 – 4:45 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. A prayer service will follow the wake 4:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Her committal service will take place Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery, 208 South Main St., Newtown, CT.
