Donald Brown Obituary

Donald Brandale Brown, 90, beloved husband of Viola Mack Brown, passed away on March 15, 2025, at home. Donald Brandale Brown, affectionately known as Mr. Brown was born in St. Ann Parish Jamaica. He was a professional welder who relocated to Bristol, England, where he thrived in his career and raised his family until the passing of his first wife, Ethel Wilkis Brown. In December 1984, Mr. Brown welcomed the opportunity to come to United States with his two youngest children. He worked as a job coach for people with disabilities at the Oak Hill School for the Blind, Hartford CT, until he retired. Mr. Brown had a loving spirit. He loved his family, community and WWE. It was his favorite program. Finding a place to settle, he found love with Ms. Viola Mack Brown, who he spent New Years, 2000 and sealed the deal. Together they enjoyed traveling, attended events at the West Indian Social Club and family gathering. He loved to cook for family and friends. He was a man of faith, always being active and supportive in the church ministries. Bristol was his home. He is survived by his wife, Viola Mack Brown, and his children: Alrick Brown, Madgie Brown (John), Paul Brown, Shearon Brown, Pamela Brown McGill (Kieron), and Gary Brown. Three brothers Stanford Brown, Alva Brown, and Winston Brown. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
