Elizabeth Peichert Obituary

Elizabeth "Betty" Anna (Pfister) Peichert, 99, wife of the late Raymond F. Peichert, of Meriden, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Regency House in Wallingford. She was born in Roosevelt, NY on July 14, 1925, a daughter of the late John and Anna (Lang) Pfister. Betty was educated in Long Island, New York and graduated from Hempstead High School. She resided in Meriden since 1957 and worked at The Miller Co. for over 31 years and then Connecticut Electric for 1.5 years. She was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon A. Tomkiewicz of Meriden; her grandsons, James A. Tomkiewicz and Jennifer Papp of Middletown and Craig R. Tomkiewicz of Meriden; her great-granddaughters, Zoey Ann Tomkiewicz and Sabrina Kirk; great-great-grandchildren, Daniel, Adeline and Aubrey; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, and her husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Anna, Alice, Mary and Katherine and her brothers, Christopher, Harry, Joseph, Burk, Bill, Charles, Philip, John, Ronald, Henry and Ed. Interment next to her late husband in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Meriden, will be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home.
