Elizabeth Reeves Obituary

Elizabeth L. Reeves, 93, of Middletown, passed away on August 12, 2025, at Wadsworth Glen Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Middletown. Born in Camden, SC, she was the daughter of the late Gertha H. and Rebecca (Salmon) Reeves. Elizabeth grew up in Colchester graduating from Bacon Academy. She graduated from business school in Hartford and went on to work for Underwood Typewriters and Pratt & Whitney Aircraft manufacturing. She moved to Middletown in 1963. She enjoyed crocheting and watching football. Elizabeth was a longtime, dedicated member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She is survived by three sisters, Willess Williamson-Garrett of Marlborough, Elease Reeves of West Haven, Mary Reeves-Brooks of Bloomfield and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, William Reeves and Gertha "Bud" Reeves, Jr. and three sisters Ruby Fletcher, Daisy Harris and Margaret Bray. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd at 2:00pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 19 Congdon Street East, Middletown.
