Fannie Gaiter Obituary

Fannie Gaiter, born on March 22, 1951, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the age of 74.Fannie was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was predeceased by her former husband, Napoleon Jarvis; her mother, Eliza Gaiter; and her two brothers, Mack and Leslie Gaiter. She leaves to cherish her memory three devoted children: Shannon, Christopher, and Michael Jarvis. She is also survived by her loving siblings-Meredith Brown and her husband William Brown of Windsor, Connecticut; Dorothy Gaiter of Birmingham, Alabama; and Quintin Gaiter of Birmingham, Alabama. In addition, Fannie leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss her warmth, strength, and kindness. Fannie's life was marked by quiet resilience and a deep love for her family. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to those she loved.A memorial service will be announced at a later time. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate and dedicated staff at Saint Mary's Home in West Hartford, Connecticut. Their care, kindness, and unwavering support provided comfort and peace during Fannie's time with them. We are deeply thankful for the love and attention they gave, making a difficult time a little easier for our family.
