Filomena Papale

Filomena Scirocco Papale, age 93, of Northford, passed away on June 24, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Ralph Papale. Filomena was born in Castel di Sasso, Caserta, Italy, the daughter of the late Marco and Domenica Apisa Scirocco. She is survived by her daughter Rosetta Cuomo (Giovanni LaCerva) of Northford, her grandchildren Annamaria Cuomo of Wallingford and Michael (Lyndsay) Cuomo of Wallingford, her great grandchildren, Adriana Iuliano, Francesca Iuliano and Christian Cuomo, her niece Anna (Gino) Bencivenga, her nephews Domenico (Martha Acevedo) Ragozzino, Giuseppe (Rosa) Ragozzino, and Marco (Tommasina) Lucca. In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her first husband Giuseppe Protettore, her son-in-law Ottavio Cuomo, and her siblings Giuseppina, Francesco, and Maria. She will be remembered for her loving and generous heart. She touched many people and was a bright, adorable gem who will be dearly missed. Filomena's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, June 27th, from 4-7pm at the Wallingford Funeral Home 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford. Her funeral process will leave the funeral home on Saturday morning at 9:15 for a Mass of Christian burial in St. Monica Church, St. Ambrose Parish, 1331 Middletown Ave, Northford at 10am.
