Frank Domingos Antunes

WATERBURY Frank Domingos Antunes "Loving father, grandfather & brother" Frank Domingos Antunes, 82, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, June 6, 2025. Born in Waterbury on November 8, 1942, he was a life-long resident and enjoyed the simple things in life. Family, friends, playing pool and cribbage, watching old westerns, and riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles were some of his favorite pastimes. He also had a life-long passion for buying and selling antiques and always looked forward to planting his garden every year. Frank made his career by first working for Industrial Riggers, and then as a painter. He worked for Fusco's painting for many years, and took true passion in his work. Frank was so proud of the success of his three girls in both their careers and their lives. He was also so pleased with the accomplishments and life paths of his seven grandchildren. Frank was predeceased by his mother, Madeline (Michaud) Rinaldi, his wife Marilyn (Latham) Antunes, as well as his siblings. Frank is survived by his three daughters, Joley Izzi and her husband John of Waterbury, Jill Zabit and her husband Paul of Bethlehem, and Justine D'Amelio and her husband Giovanni of Watertown. He also leaves behind his two sisters, Rose Dellarose of Southington, Theresa Descault of Torrington, as well as his seven grandchildren, Mia Izzi, Jadan Izzi, Aidan Zabit, Talia Zabit, Dr. Alanna D'Amelio and her husband Ryan Kalnins, Joseph D'Amelio and his wife Julia, Gianfranco D'Amelio and his wife Bianca. Arrangements: Calling hours for Frank will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial, the Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. A prayer service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 6:00 p.m. Frank's burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Chase Parkway Memorial
