Garry Stovall Obituary
Garry Keith Stovall Sr. was welcomed into this world on, Oct. 5, 1961.He was the fifth of six children born to the union of Saul and Tommie Mae Stovall. After a brief illness he was called home to be with The Lord on October 7, 2025.
Garry was raised in New Haven CT. and received his education in the New Haven public school system. He began his work career in construction. Garry relocated to McDonough Ga.in 2010 and continued his employment in construction with the Teamster Union of Ga. In 2022 Garry relocated to Jesup Ga. and worked in the restaurant business.
Garry was a very humble, loving and caring person. Always the life of the party and loved to make people laugh. He loved his father, children, sisters, nieces, nephews Aunts and Uncles. Garry had a heart of gold and expressed his Love for his family as he enjoyed spending time with them. He left his mark on the heart of everyone he loved.
Garry attended and became a member of St. Johns Holiness Church in Jesup Ga. He returned home to New Haven and recommitted his life to Christ while attending Christian Love Center Inc. under the leadership of his Aunts Dr. Willie Mae Clayton and Pastor Annie Williams During Garry's most recent hospital stay he was able to have many one on one conversations with his sister Pastor Carol DuBose expressing his Love for the Lord and talking about meeting God, going to his eternal heavenly home, and seeing her mother, brothers and all of his heavenly family. Garry will be remembered for his strength and determination as he overcame many obstacles in his beautiful God given life.
Garry leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter Kenya (Raymond) Wright - Fenner, of Waterbury Ct. Gary K. Stovall Jr. of Smithfield, N.C. and Four grandsons of Waterbury Ct. He will be sorely missed and remembered by his father Saul Stovall, Sister Pastor Carol (Thomas) DuBose and Jacqueline Hoyte all of Jesup GA, Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends of Ga. and CT. including his special Lady Julia Brooks - Moore of Hamden CT.
Garry was predeceased by his Mother Tommie Mae Stovall and brothers Larry, Harry and Micheal Stovall.
