Gerald Sourdiffe Obituary

Gerald R. "Bucker" Sourdiffe, 75, of Chicopee, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Holyoke Medical Center. He was born on March 8, 1950 in Springfield and was the son of the late William R and Eleanor (Ashe) Sourdiffe. Gerald was a carpenter at the University of Massachusetts. Besides his parents, Gerald is predeceased by his wife, Katherine (Strycharz) Sourdiffe and his sister, Joyce Gilbert. He is survived by his son, Joshua Sourdiffe of Chicopee; a daughter, Sarah Witczak of Westfield; his siblings, Judith Thibault, William Sourdiffe and Joan Skaza; four grandchildren, Jordyn Sourdiffe, Jace Sourdiffe, Camden Witczak and Sadie Witczak and a great grandson, Oliver Sourdiffe. Visitation will be on Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee from 11 to 12 pm. Burial will follow in St. Patricks Cemetery in Chicopee.
