Glenna Lecomte Obituary

Glenna B. Lecomte, of Marlborough and formerly of Quaker Hill, passed away on August 5, 2025, at the Marlborough Health and Rehab Center where she was a resident. Many of the staff became her family and they cared for and treated her with dignity and respect for years. Glenna celebrated 100 years of life in November and was born on November 19, 1924. She was born in Auburn, Maine and was the daughter of the late Beede and Clara (Anderson) Verrill. Proud to be the wife of Robert Lecomte who was also from Maine. He predeceased her in 2014. Glenna was a homemaker, and she was particularly fond of the company of her Dogs: Heidi and Cookie as well as her cats. She adored her nieces and nephews. It gave her pleasure to find interesting gifts for those she loved. Glenna and her spunk will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many extended family members and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers Albert and Alfred Verrill, Anna Patchell of Enfield, and Betty Griffin of Plainfield. Calling hours will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm, Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Rd, Colchester. Burial will be private in Maine.
