Graciela Gonzalez Obituary

Graciela Gonzalez, 95, of Southwick, MA and Flushing, New York, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Vantage of Hampden surrounded by her family. She was born on July 14, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Simon Figueroa and Ana (Garcia) Figueroa. Graciela worked as a family care manager. She is predeceased by her husband, Jamie Gonzalez and three sisters, Vilma Williams, Anita Plata and Elsa Figueroa and her brother, Ernesto Figueroa. She is survived by three sons, James Gonzalez, Jr. and his significant other, Dolores Ramos of Killeen, TX, Carlos Gonzalez and his girlfriend, Yvette Balduzzi also of Killeen, TX and Richard A. Gonzalez and his wife, Elizabeth Sampson of Longmeadow; two daughters, Sandra Gonzalez of Southwick and Margy Gonzalez of Bayside, NY; a sister, Mireya Marales of Corona, NY; five grandchildren, Jerry Gonzalez, Jimmy Gonzalez, Joseph Gonzalez, Nicole Gonzalez-Knowlton and Angelina Marie Sampson-Mancuso and five great grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Avrum, Henry and Frankie. A liturgy of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at St Mary's Church, 519 Longmeadow St., Longmeadow, MA at 11:00am. Her burial will follow at Longmeadow Cemetery.
