James T. Logan III

James T. Logan, III, 72, lifelong resident of Meriden, loving husband of Robyn Huse Logan, passed away at home surrounded by his family after a long illness. He loved spending time with his family and working on and fixing projects. James worked at Neligon's and Bob's Garage as an autobody mechanic. He also was a volunteer fireman in South Meriden for four years, played softball for many years in Meriden, and loved to be outdoors, camping and working around the house. He enjoyed trips to Kentucky to see his daughter, grandkids, and friends, truck shows, and trips to Lake George, and gained a foster son who became a great joy in his life. He was predeceased by his father, James T. Logan, Jr., and mother, Yvonne "Jackie" Hill-Logan. James is survived by his wife of 46 years, Robyn Logan, children, Amanda Bishop, Hillary Logan, and Jordyn Gdovin, grandchildren, Teresa Reed and her husband Cory, Rebecca Bishop, and Ezran (Autumn) Logan and their husband Maximus, great-grandchildren, Cody Reed and Amanda Kimerly, siblings, Sandra St. Pierre, Cythina Gdovin, April Steadman and her husband Steve, Ellen Logan, and Kelly Logan and his wife Patrice, brother-in-law Gary Huse and his wife Linda, and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service celebrating James's life will held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Friends may visit with his family from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. before the service. Interment will be private.
