Jeffrey Cyr Obituary

Jeffrey Daniel Cyr, 43, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Born in New Britain, he was a lifelong resident and graduated from E.C. Goodwin Technical School. Jeff was a Parts Manager for Paul Miller Motorcycle LLC. Jeff's love of family & friends was evident throughout his daily life. His uplifting spirit brought joy to those around him and was always willing to go the extra mile for friends or family in need. He truly embodied the character of one who would "give you the shirt off his back". Jeff loved to laugh with his friends and family, whether it was family trips to Canada, bonding with his father and brother picking fiddleheads, fishing & bonfires, spending time with friends on hobbies like motocross, riding his Harley, or watching his beloved New England Patriots with family and friends, Jeff brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. Surviving are his parents, Donald and Donna (Lezotte) Cyr; a sister, Jennifer Brown and her husband Derek; a brother, Timothy Cyr and his wife Lia; his Godparents Al & Betty Cyr; many best friends including Ted Nicklis, Greg Deluzio, and Ron Cyr (Uncle Ronnie); and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jeff now rests in peace with Grams, Meme, Uncle T, and other close friends who have gone before him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11 AM at St. Maurice Church. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 9-10:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Pl, Memphis, TN, 38105. Jeff was such a great guy. I'm really so sad that he's no longer with us. He was always a smiling face down at Mickey Finn's as the parts manager and we would go in and get our motocross parts. He love to see us!!! Later on, we would always connect through the national motocross races and he was always one to offer you a beer and offer you a chair always smiling always remembered everyone and I really loved him. He was a great man and I'm so sad he's gone.

Jeff's friends in our motocross group were very saddened. Such a good looking young man that had so much more life left in him, but life is precious and we all meet our maker sooner than we want. So we will see Jeff again and God bless Jeff.

Jeff thanks for offering me one of your beers at Southwick this year at the national I've got a picture of you and I drink one of your beers and that's the last time I saw you.

Love, Toddie!
