Jenaro Arroyo Burgos

Well, folks, it looks like the jig is up. Jenaro Arroyo Burgos, also known as "Jay", your favorite limo driver and resident funny guy, has finally run out of road. Born in Hartford, Connecticut on March 10, 1963, I (because apparently I'm writing my own obituary) moved my resilient, loving, and dedicated self to Springfield, Massachusetts, where I became the most popular guy in town. Or at least, that's what I'd like to believe. As dedicated as I was funny, my passengers always got where they needed to go with a smile on their faces and a pun or two to share with their friends. I drove this life like I drove my limo, with humor, resilience, and a whole lot of love. I was a man of many hats, but the one I wore with the most pride was that of being a father. Surviving me are my children Marc, Andrew, Jaynaliz, Dalila, Eva, Gianna, and Jesus. You kids were the best passengers a dad could ask for. My mother, Floripa Burgos, also survives me. Sorry to leave the party early, ma, but you know how it is, the early bird catches the worm. Sadly, I'm joining my lovely wife Maria Arroyo and my old man, Jenaro Rivera, who have been saving me a seat. They know I wouldn't miss a good gathering. The viewing will be held at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01109, on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Later that day, I'll be taking my final ride to Oak Grove Cemetery of Springfield Inc., 426 Bay Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01109, at 11:30 AM. The funeral procession will, of course, be led by a limo, because I wouldn't have it any other way. As Mark Twain once said, "The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time." I lived fully, so here's to the next big adventure.
