Jing Yuan Obituary

Jing Yuan, age 72, beloved wife of Rong Zhang of Woodbridge, died peacefully on May 22, 2024 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, with her family by her side. Born in Qionglai, China on August 20, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Junhua and Guifang Luo Yuan. Mrs. Yuan worked as an accountant until the time of her retirement in China. She was a devout Christian and attended services at the Calvary Baptist Church of New Haven. In addition to her husband of 50 years, she is survived by her devoted daughter, Yuanyuan Zhang and her husband, Lin Zhong of Woodbridge; siblings, Chengshu, Chengyu, Chengjian and Chengru, all of China; cherished grandchildren, Kaifeng and Kaixin Zhong of Woodbridge, as well as several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. A graveside service will be held in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery, Derby at 11:00 AM. Online condolences may be made at www.wakeleememorial.com.
