Joanne C. "Ceraso" Noto

Joanne (Ceraso) Noto, 78, of Enfield, CT, passed away peacefully, August 3rd, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with dementia. She leaves behind 3 children Joseph, Matthew, Julie and her husband Chris Gosselin, 3 beloved grandchildren, Ryan, Drew, and Jordyn Gosselin, brother Charles Ceraso, sister-in-law. niece,nephew, many cousins and friends. Joanne grew up in Enfield, CT, graduated from Our Lady of Angles high school and later earned an associate's degree at Asnuntuck Community College. She worked many jobs throughout her life, lastly as the secretary of St. Mary's church in Windsor Locks for over 20 years. Joanne loved reading books and volunteered with Friends of the Enfield Library for many years. She enjoyed expressing beauty through photography, painting, and writing. Mostly she enjoyed spending time talking and laughing with her family, especially her grandchildren. She joins her father Mario Ceraso, dearly missed mother Mary (Culotta) Ceraso and brother Michael Ceraso in heaven. Joanne's family would like to thank the staff at the Atrium at Cardinal Drive for the wonderful and compassionate care and support given to her and family during Joanne's time there. Relatives and friends may join her family on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm during calling hours at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 13 at 10:00 am in St. Mary Church (Mary Gate of Heaven Parish) 42 Spring St. Windsor Locks, CT (Please meet directly at church). Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery 368 Broad St. Manchester, CT at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Atrium at Cardinal Drive Recreational Fund, 135 Cardinal Drive Agawam, MA 01001.
