JoAnne Santoro Obituary

OAKVILLE JoAnne Santoro "Loving aunt and sister" JoAnne Santoro, age 82, of Oakville, passed away peacefully September 3, 2025. JoAnne was born December 19, 1942 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Dominic Anthony and Elvira (Bellino) Taglia. She was a graduate of Croft High School. Prior to her retirement JoAnne had worked in the shipping and receiving department at Timex for many years. She was an avid reader who enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching soccer but found her greatest joy being with her family and friends. She leaves her sister, RoseMary DonAroma and the late Paul DonAroma of Oakville, a brother, John Taglia and his wife Diana, of Saint Augustine, FL, her nieces and nephews, Kristina Dietzko and her husband Stephen of Branford, Stefanie Donovan and her husband Ryan of Cheshire, Wendy Rossi and her husband Ron of Charlotte, NC, Jennifer Jackson and her husband Andy of Highlands Ranch, CO, Anthony Taglia and his wife Sara of Chandler, AZ and several great nieces and nephews. Arrangements: A graveside service will be held privately and at the convenience of her family in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown . There are no calling hours. Chase Parkway Memorial, The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury has been entrusted with handling JoAnne's funeral arrangements.

I was so sorry to hear of JoAnne“s passing. I will always remember her at family gatherings, sitting quietly with a gentle smile, simply enjoying being surrounded by the family she so deeply adored.
