JOHN A. BRIDGES 1/15/1970-9/29/2025 WINSTED, CT With a heavy heart among great sorrow, John has left this earth too soon. Though he struggled, he managed to make every one smile no matter what the case may be. A Son, Uncle, Brother, and friend has went home to heaven and forever will be with us in our hearts and minds, as a beautiful soul, no matter what he struggled with. A smile was always kept on his face and will remain that way in God's arms. John never left it unknown how much his family meant to him, and cherished his beloved cats whom he viewed as his children. (CAL & CARA) of course named after Superman whom he loved throughout his entire life, even dedicated tattoos to his passion for the film. Leaving behind his siblings, Lawson Bridges, Ruth Jackson, William Bridges, Denise Gardella (Dan), Andrew Bridges, & Jerry Withee (Jennifer); also predeceased by his brother, Paul Bridges; as well as his nephews and nieces, (Who he adored and had a tattoo of each name on his leg, each name tattoed perfectly). Taylor Bridges, Landon Gardella (Amanda), Heather Smith (Michelle), Daniel Gardella (Sara), Tashia Bridges, Casey Bridges, Ashley Box (Dan), Robert Smith, Katie Bridges, Evan Jackson, Molly Parsons (Michael), Shylee Bridges, Gavin Withee, Livia Withee, & Mya Withee; as well as his great nieces and nephews, Tessa, Avianna, Michael, Autumn, Scarlett, Wyatt, Jerry JR, Paisley, Gage, Rowan and Silas. Most importantly he leaves behind his mother, Linda Withee of Winsted, CT; with whom he shared a great bond, shared to the very end. John, the soul he was, did the best to live a positive life though he had hurdles he couldn't overcome. He is loved, and appreciated, and most of all will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace, may he find ease. May he find peace that he deserves. We love you as a Son, Brother, Uncle and friend. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
