John Schneider Obituary
John A. Schneider, 43 of Manchester Connecticut, passed away on May 23rd 2025 at UConn Hospital. He was held in the care and presence of his close family.
John was born on December 10th 1981 in Rochester, NY and he was born into a one of a kind, warm, large, and tight-knit family. The child of John M. Schneider and Linda Schneider and the brother to Tom and Heather. 8 years after John's birth, the family welcomed triplet brothers: Michael, Richard, and Andrew. In spite of this 8 year age difference between John and his triplet brothers, they grew to become his best friends. Love, laughter, and loyalty are a way of life for the Schneider family and have guided the principles of how John lived his life.
From an early age, John demonstrated remarkable ambition and drive, launching his first business selling computers online at the age of 17 and while still attending Midlakes High School - a venture that laid the foundation for a prestigious career in Business Systems Technology. He graduated with his Bachelor's degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and moved to Connecticut to begin his career with UTC. Over the years, he earned recognition for his innovation, leadership, and unwavering work ethic as he was employed by the various UTC companies including Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky, and Carrier. Before his rise as a successful business entrepreneur, John worked part time as a DJ for Go Sound. This job was short lived but remains a favorite story among his friends and family: a fun and unexpected chapter in the life of someone who always loved music and who became better known for his business and coding skills than his DJ performances.
Just as John poured countless hours into his dedication to his business as an Independent Consultant, he also took on projects big and small as a self taught home renovator, working diligently on remodeling his home. He approached all work tasks in his life with thoughtfulness, determination, and pride. Whether it was working on his computer doing coding and analytics all day and then building, repairing, and improving his house at night, his hands were rarely idle. His work ethic was unmatched - steadfast and driven by genuine love for learning and self Mastery. John was also known for his exceptional kindness. He had a gentle and steady presence that left a lasting impression on everyone he interacted with. His warmth and generosity created countless cherished memories with his family and friends. While living in Connecticut he met his life partner, Jessica Giordano. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, unwavering support, and the sweetest cat companion named Macie. Through every challenge with his journey through cancer, John and Jessica stood together side by side and embraced a philosophy of never taking a single day for granted and finding joy in the little moments and laughing together, even in the hardest of moments.
John leaves behind his loving partner Jessica, his parents Linda and John Schneider, his siblings Heather Nichols (Jeff), Tom Bauer, Michael, Richard and Andrew (Lindsey) his nieces and nephews: Marissa, Jacob, Alivia, Luke, Bryce and Declan Bauer, Chloe, Josiah and Joshua Nichols, Riker Paquin and his closest childhood friends Shaun and Dave.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the medical providers who supported John throughout his five year journey with cancer: the Neuro Oncology team at Uconn, the many dedicated nurses, aides, and volunteers at Uconn hospital, Hartford Hospital Radiation Dept, Dent Institute, and Yale Hospital.
His legacy of love, determination, and loyalty will never be forgotten. A handcrafted gift from his sister that John displayed in his dining room was one of his favorite lines from a Dave Matthew's Band song: "Celebrate we will, 'cause life is short but sweet for certain "
