Josephine Giuliani

Josephine Giuliani, age 98, passed away peacefully at Glastonbury Health Care Center in Glastonbury, CT on Sunday, June 29, 2025. Born in Bronx, NY on November 4, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Marie (Scesa) Giuliani. Josephine graduated from Evander Childs High School, Bronx, New York in 1944. After high school, she worked as a secretary for Aetna Insurance Co. in lower Manhattan's financial district. She later moved to Eastchester, NY where she resided for 25 years. During that time, she commuted to Grand Central Terminal to work at various companies in midtown Manhattan, including Tenneco Oil. One of Josephine's most notable roles was supporting the planning of the New York International Auto Show. In her later years, she resided in Stamford, CT and Monroe, CT. She was deeply loved and was like a second mother to her nieces and nephews, who affectionately called her "Bubbie." She was well known for her wonderful cooking and baking skills and enjoyed hosting family holiday dinners. Josephine is survived by her sister, Angelina (Giuliani) Pinelli, nephews John A. Perrotto, Jr. and Michael Pinelli, nieces Rosemarie Perrotto Rondos and Judith Pinelli Fuoco, as well as great-nephews and great-nieces. Josephine was predeceased by her sisters, Rose Giuliani Perrotto and Rita Giuliani. The family would like to give a special thanks to Josephine's longtime caretaker, Daisy Echevaria and to Glastonbury Health Care Center for their care and support. A graveside service will be held privately.
