Jozefa Weber

With deep sadness, we share the passing of Jozefa Weber, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the age of 86. Born in Poland, Jozefa's life was defined by resilience, grace, and her steadfast devotion to family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Czeslaw Weber, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and partnership. Together they created a home filled with warmth, tradition, and lasting values. Jozefa will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her strength during life's challenges, and her boundless love for those around her. Her kitchen was a place of comfort and joy, where generations gathered around meals prepared with care. She found great happiness in her vegetable garden and delighted in sending loved ones home with something she had grown. She is survived by her daughters, Danuta Sulewski (late husband Wesley) and Vivian Nowakowski (late husband Andrzej); her grandchildren, Joanne Davenport (husband Brent), Thomas Sulewski (wife Danielle), and David Lombardo (wife Jennifer); and her great-grandchildren, Spencer, Madeline, Sofia, Maiyah, Derek, McKenna, and Emilia. She also leaves behind extended family and dear friends who will continue to honor her legacy of love, perseverance, and faith. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the wake on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt St., New Britain. Funeral services for Jozefa will begin on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 8:45 a.m. from the Burritt Hill Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, New Britain.
