Juliette Corriveau

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Juliette Rodrigue Corriveau, who departed this life on May 15, 2025, at the age of 93. Born in Maine, Juliette was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert Corriveau, and the devoted mother of Nancy Roy (Larry) of Bristol and Gilbert Corriveau Jr. of New Britain. Juliette was predeceased by her loving parents, Leo and Melina Rodrigue, as well as her dear sisters, Alice Boulay and Doris Pelletier. She also leaves behind a special niece, Diane Ouellette, who was like a daughter to her, offering years of love and companionship. A proud grandmother, Juliette is survived by her three grandchildren: Shannon (Roger) Calabro of Burlington, Holly (Troy) Schinkel of Wolcott, and Gil Roy and girlfriend Sierra Vollero of Bristol. Her legacy continues through her six great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Juliette had a deep love for music that shaped much of her life. She was a member of a musical group formed with her three sisters, affectionately known as The Rodrigue Sisters. Together, they performed at numerous venues over the years, including the beloved Riverside Park, bringing joy and entertainment to many. Music was not just a hobby for Juliette-it was a passion that lit up her spirit and filled her life with harmony and purpose. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 22, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Brooklawn Funeral Home, 511 Brook St. Rocky Hill, followed by burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in New Britain. Juliette will be remembered for the music she made, the love she gave, and the joy she spread. She leaves behind a melody of memories that will live in the hearts of all who knew her.
