Kathleen Mary Geckler

Kathleen Mary Geckler, 84, of Windsor Locks, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 31, 2025. Born on January 15, 1941, in Hartford, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph Baj and Helen (Rzewnicki) Myketyn.
Kathleen was devoted to her family, who were the center of her world. Her greatest joy came from spending time with them-whether in person or over the telephone. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all of them.
She is survived by her two sons, Carlton Geckler and his wife, Patricia, of Florida and Christopher Geckler and his wife, Lisa, of Windsor Locks, her cherished grandchildren, Ryan Geckler, Nicole Vogt and her husband, Corey, Sean Geckler and his wife, Jocelyn, and Eric Geckler; and her adored great-grandchildren, Cora, Max, Nico, and Callahan. She also leaves behind her former husband, Vernon Geckler of Windsor Locks; two sisters, Arlene Santoro of Florida, and Barbara Mokrzycki and her husband, Casmir, of Wethersfield.. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Baj.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Stonebrook Village Assisted Living for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Kathleen in her final years.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
