Kenneth Pascoe Obituary
Kenneth Porter Pascoe, 62, of Suffield, beloved husband and soulmate of Paula Pascoe, passed away peacefully surrounded by his adoring family on Monday, October 6, 2025 after an over 3-year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Ken was born on March 1, 1963 in Ansonia CT, but grew up in West Hartford, son of Arthur E Pascoe of Vernon, CT (formerly of West Hartford) and Judith P Pascoe of Bloomfield, CT (formerly of West Hartford). He attended Conard High School, graduating in 1981 and went on to earn a BS in Accounting from Plymouth State College in 1985 and passing the CPA exam in 1988.
One of the best things Ken did was to pledge Omega Omicron Fraternity at Plymouth State College. Thank you brothers and sisters; especially JM, RH, GS, DG, MT, TA, RS, JA, CH and BH.
Ken was self-employed since 1999, working with Neil and Brendan Begley and then with Carl Bagge and Joseph Cennamo before returning to his solo CPA practice the last 4 years.
He was a 33-year member and 2-time president of the Suffield Rotary Club, elected to the Suffield Police Commission for 10 years (serving 4 years as chairman), past director and treasurer of the Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Association, along with other local non-profit organizations.
Ken enjoyed playing golf (admittedly not well), setback on Wednesday nights with a great group of friends, coaching his kids in soccer, the annual Rotary Chicken Barbeque, hanging out with his soulmate, and giving back to his community.
In addition to Paula, his Soulmate of over 20 years, he is also survived his father, Arthur E. Pascoe and his significant other, Grace Mullen of Vernon and his mother Judith P. Pascoe of Bloomfield; his children; Stephanie R Pascoe of Windsor Locks, Scott A Pascoe of Windsor, step-son Michael P Gemme along with his wife Kafa and his grandsons Jack and Malachi of Windsor Locks, his wonderful sister Nancy Hawes and husband James Hawes of Pittsburg NH, his brother Jeffrey W Pascoe and his wife Cathy of VA, his beloved doges FASBe and IRiS, along with many nieces and nephews. A special shout-out to his brother from another mother and best friend of over 45 years, Martin Merritt of Bermuda.
A special thank you to Dr. Timothy Hong and Ken's nurse, Claudia Walles, of Hartford Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held Monday, October 20, 2025 from 11 am to 2 pm at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East Street, Suffield, CT followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm.
