Kline E. Loomis

Kline E. Loomis, 89, departed this life on June 24, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Joyce (Austin) Loomis. Kline was born in Rockingham, VT on August 21, 1935, a son to the late Carroll and Doris (Notemyer) Loomis. Kline spent his younger years growing up in Putney, VT. At 14 years of age he met the love of his life, Joyce and they married in 1955. Together, he and Joyce built a beautiful family and fulfilling life in CT. He was adored by everyone in his family and truly enjoyed being with them for every event. Kline was dedicated to his church community and made many lifelong friends in the town of Wallingford. He was an avid fisherman, loved playing golf and enjoyed trying his hand at woodworking and carpentry. He was also a devoted Red Sox fan and could often be found watching the games on the television. Kline is survived by his son Dean Loomis and his wife Becky of Meriden, as well as 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his son Darren Loomis (Lisa) of VT. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 9:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Wallingford, 114 N. Main Street, Wallingford. Burial will immediately follow at In Memoriam Cemetery, 18 Maplewood Avenue, Wallingford. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford, Connecticut has been entrusted with the arrangements.
