Kyle Patrick Sayles

Kyle Patrick Donovan Sayles, age 36, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 15, 2025. Born September 25, 1988, he was the beloved son of Kelly Sayles and the late Christopher Sayles. Kyle worked for many years as a tree serviceman, a trade he excelled in and truly enjoyed. Strong and hardworking, he found pride in his craft and the community it gave him. Kyle found his greatest joys in life through the things that expressed who he was-his time spent fishing and his love for tattoos. The water was his sanctuary, a place where he could cast his worries aside and simply be present. His tattoos told the other side of his story, each one marking a piece of his journey, a memory, or a meaning he wanted to carry with him forever. His life was shaped by both joy and sorrow. He carried the weight of losing his father, whom he deeply loved and honored, yet he continued forward with strength and quiet resilience. Above all, he cherished his partner, Randae, and her sons, Zylier and Xander, who brought light and meaning to his days. Known for his tough exterior and big heart, Kyle was fiercely loyal and loved his friends like family. His humor, warmth, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In addition to his partner, Kyle is survived by his mother, Kelly Sayles, and Dora Dionne; his sisters, Keeley Pantano (Manny) and Kelsey Clairmont (Chris); his brothers, Dan Dionne, Jeremy Dionne (Amanda) and Matt Dionne; and his nieces, Kayla, Gia, Rylee, Natalie, and Olivia. He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and countless friends. He was predeceased by his father, Chris; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Joanne Donovan; paternal grandparents, Steven and Irma Sayles; cousin Brittany; and his beloved dog, Brooklyn. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Village Cemetery, New Hartford at 1 PM. Montano-Shea Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
