Leslie Blow

Leslie (Ruggiero) Blow, 67, of Enfield, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, at Hartford Hospital on the anniversary of her son Justin's passing. A devoted mother, cherished sister, and beloved friend, Leslie lived her life with strength, passion, and a heart full of love. Born and raised in Connecticut, Leslie was a proud parishioner of St. Mary Church in Windsor Locks. A dedicated single mom, she poured her heart into her family, raising her children with fierce devotion and unwavering support. Through her life she found joy in simple pleasures of knitting, tending to her garden (especially her beloved sunflowers), and enjoying the loving purr of her cats and growing her frog collection. Leslie was known for being strong, loving, and overwhelmingly stubborn. She had a generous heart and a boundless love for her family. A lifelong Boston Red Sox fan, she cheered her team on through every season, win or lose. She is survived by her sons, Adam Blow and his wife Hana, Nathan Blow, and Luke Blow; her sisters, Linda Ruggiero, Lee "DeeDee" Zononi-Ciparelli and her husband Art, and Tracy Ruggiero-Fuentes and her husband Emilio; and her "bonus" sister and lifelong best friend, Lorraine Pinette. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Mercedes, Rosalynn, Christian, Theodore, and Leonardo, along with many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. Leslie was predeceased by her beloved son, Justin Michael Blow, and her nephew, Joshua Zononi, both in 2003 as well as her parents, Pasquale and Marion (Kupec) Ruggiero. She will always be remembered for her generous spirit and maternal nature. Relatives and friends may join the family on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 1 – 3 pm at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 11:00 am at Mary, Gate of Heaven- St. Mary Church, 42 Spring St, Windsor Locks (Please meet directly at church).
