Mandie Lassy Obituary

Mandie Echo Lassy Mandie Echo Lassy of Terryville, CT passed away suddenly late night, Sunday May 11, 2025. She was born in Bristol, CT on September 19, 1987, daughter of Walter R. and Donna (Chasse) Lassy. Mandie was a devoted mother to her two young boys Mason and Braxton Murphy, and their sister, Liliana Murphy. She loved nothing more than being a mother and always ensured her children came first no matter what that entailed. Being the selfless person she was, her compassion for people lead her to her career in the medical field. Mandie graduated from UConn School of Nursing with a bachelor's degree and continued further at Post University to receive her Master's in Business Administration. She worked for RS Medical. Mandie's presence could fill any room she walked into. Her smile and laughter was so contagious, you would find yourself repeating her favorite line, "It's a beautiful day to be alive." Mandie enjoyed many things in life, however ensuring everyone around her felt love, compassion, and friendship is what she did best. In addition to her parents and children, Mandie is survived by her brother Walter Y. Lassy, sister Chantel Blackburn, grandmothers Carmen Chasse, and Caroline Campbell, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025, 11AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 134 Main St, Terryville. Burial will private and at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may visit at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, Friday, May 16, 2025, from 6-8 PM. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Mandie Echo Lassy, please visit our floral store.
