Mr. Manuel Antonio Agosto "Jirafa", 55, of Waterbury passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Mr. Agosto was born on September 6, 1969, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, to Esperanza Santiago and Adalberto Agosto. "Jirafa" as he was called, was known for his vibrant personality and warm spirit. Manuel was always full of life and energetic. He loved baseball and was a devoted and die-hard Boston Red Sox fan who never missed a game. He was also a Latin freestyle music fanatic. His laughter, love and loyalty will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Above all, Manuel loved his family deeply. No matter what he was going through, or his life's circumstances, his love for them never wavered. In addition to his parents, Mr. Agosto is survived by his children; Manuel "Manny" Agosto Jr. of Puerto Rico, Jocelyn Pudim and Katelyn Pudim bot of Wolcott, CT, four brothers; Carlos and Jose Agosto both of Waterbury, Jaime and Francisco Agosto both of Florida, one sister; Margarita Agosto of Waterbury, as well as several nieces; Crystal Vasquez, Leilany and Delaila Gonzalez, and Joanna Agosto all of Waterbury, several nephews; Joshua Garcia of Waterbury, Francisco Cintron of Florida and Jaime Agosto of New Haven, several great-nieces, and great-nephews, cousins and friends.
