Marian Wallen Obituary
Marian was a devoted mother, a caring friend, and a woman of quiet strength. She is survived by her daughter, Koucha Misaki of Laramie, Wyoming, and her son, Jonathan Wallen. Her love for her family was steadfast and enduring, and she took great pride in their accomplishments.
She worked as a clerk with the United States Post Office and was known for her diligence, kindness, and thoughtful nature. Those who knew Marian will remember her as a woman of faith and gentle humor, someone who always found ways to bring comfort and calm to those around her.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Church of Deliverance, 159 Blue Hills Avenue, Hartford, CT. A celebration of life will take place the same day beginning at 11:00 a.m., and burial will follow at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery.
Marian's life was a reflection of compassion and resilience. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

My condolences to her son and her daughter and to her fellow colleagues at the Post Office. Marion used to come into the [Bloomfield Public] library and the staff and I looked forward to seeing, talking with, and laughing with her. Her passing is a shock to me and I will truly miss her.
