Marion Paskov Obituary

Marion R. Paskov of Hartford, Newington, and South Lyme, CT passed away on August 25,2025. Marion shared 73 years in a blissful marriage with her soulmate Kreso Paskov until his passing in 2019. Marion lived a full life growing up on a farm in Barre, MA then with Kreso spending summers at Point of Woods beach, winters in Naples, FL, and going on innumerable cruises and vacations together. Daughter Barbara Paskov will miss Marion and remember their visits with fondness. Weekly Sunday visits with granddaughter Meagan Saucier Paskov and great grandson James Mack gave Marion great joy, especially the huge hugs from James. Marion is also survived by step grandson Mark Saucier, great grandson Mark Saucier Jr., granddaughter Amy (Brian) Wojas, and great granddaughters Faith and Ella Wojas. Marion was predeceased by her son James Paskov and his wife Paula Paskov, and daughter Joan Palfrey. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the awesome nurses and aides at Parkville Care Center for the impeccable care they provided to Marion, with a heartfelt thank you to Taycha (Amy) for the very special kindness and happiness she brought to Marion. A graveside remembrance for Marion with family and friends will be held at 11:30 a.m., September 2, 2025 at West Meadow Cemetery, 679 Willard Ave., Newington.
