Mark Stephen Altieri

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Mark Stephen Altieri, 54, of Bristol, Connecticut on Sunday, February 16, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Nadia Daurajh. Born in New Haven on February 22, 1970, Mark was the son of Gary Altieri and Deborah Doody. He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Air Force and was a proud member of the Veterans Memorial. Mark worked for many years as a CDL truck driver for Town Fair Tire in East Haven, but his greatest passion in life was music. From a young age, he was dedicated to playing the drums and performed in numerous bands over the years. A devoted Christian, he found strength and guidance in his faith. Mark loved spending time at the beach and enjoyed fishing, especially in the waters of Long Island Sound. He will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering dedication to his loved ones, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures. He was the proud father of Casey Lombardi and stepfather to Ethan and Jada. He is survived by his parents, his brother Michael Altieri and his wife Paula, brother Carl Altieri, and sister Jaemie Altieri as well as his cherished niece & nephews, Gabriella and Mason Altieri, and Andrew and Andon Salva. Marc is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Albert & June Altieri, and Paul & Antionette Doody. Mark's presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. The visiting hours will be on Saturday, February 22nd from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Interment with full military honor will be on Monday at 12 noon in the State Veteran's Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT 06457.
