Melba Janet "Dosher" Walsh

WALSH, Melba Janet (Dosher), 85 of Lakeland, FL, Died August 29, 2025. She was born on July 19, 1940 in Clovis, New Mexico to Willie Inez (Rundell) Dosher and Marion Rufus Dosher. Melba was predeceased by her husband William Donald Walsh, Sr., sadly who passed a week before Melba, her parents Willie Inez and Marion Rufus Dosher, her granddaughter Ashley Walsh and five siblings: Margaret London, Alfred Dosher, Jerrel Dosher, Glenda Carpenter, and Malcom Dosher. Melba is survived by her five children; Sherilyn Walsh, Theresa Bourbeau, Bonnie Patsun and her husband William Patsun, Tracy Fahey and her husband Tom Fahey, William Donald Walsh, Jr. Also, her 9 grandchildren; Travis Bourbeau, Amanda (Fahey) Messenger, Stacy Fahey, Billy Joe Patsun, Michael Patsun, Brian Patsun, Jeremy Patsun, Nikki Walsh, William J. Walsh along with her five great grandchildren; Isabella Bourbeau, Olivia Patsun, Alena Patsun, Mason Patsun, and Savannah Patsun, and her sister Jody Dosher Schmidt and brother Dickey Dosher , along with many nieces and nephews, which are too many to list. Prior to retiring, Melba was employed at Hallmark Cards in Enfield, CT for 28 years of service before retiring to Lakeland, FL. While enjoying life in sunny Florida, she enjoyed sewing and creating towns and train villages with her husband Bill. She would also join her husband on their many adventures riding their Harley Davidson to many destinations around the country. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 with a Memorial Mass at 10:00 am in St. Patrick's Church (St. Jeanne Jugan Parish) Enfield, CT. followed by burial in St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery.
