Michael J. Guidone

Michael J. Guidone, 83, of Wallingford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20th, 2025, at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford with his family by his side. Michael was born in New Haven on November 27th, 1941, and was the son of the late Thomas and Winifred Herman Guidone. He served his country faithfully in the US Navy during the Vietnam war. A Chef in his earlier years, Michael was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and later was a Sales Representative for Hartford Provisions until his retirement. Michael enjoyed wood carving, watching sports and had started the "Midnight Run" at local churches. Father of Justin T. Guidone (Kimberly), Michael Guidone and Brittany-Guidone O'Reilly. Beloved Poppa to Nathan Guidone. Brother of Dennis Guidone, Raymond Guidone (Elizabeth), Mary Cacace (the late John), Joan Spring (the late Jerry), Al Guidone (Valerie), Vera Lauren (Walter) and the late Virginia Guidone Corbin, Franklin and Thomas Guidone. Brother-in-law of Dr. Alan Corbin and Jeanne Guidone The visiting hours will be Friday morning, May 23rd from 9:00 to 10:15 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Most Holy Trinity Church, Wallingford at 11:00. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
