Nancy Gibbons Obituary

Nancy Jean Gibbons, 66, of Moodus, beloved wife of Allan Howat passed away Saturday May 17th at Marlborough Health and Rehabilitation Center in Marlborough, CT. Born June 17, 1958 in Bermuda, she was the daughter of the late Richard and June (Larken) Gibbons. Nancy was the Principal of Gibbons Estimating Group LLC, providing Commercial Construction Cost Estimating for over 15 years. Besides her husband Allan, she is survived by her step mother Margaret Gibbons of Scotia, NY, step son Jeffrey Cusick-Howat of Moodus CT, step daughter Trisha Coelho (Joseph) of Windsor CT, brother Shawn Gibbons of Scotia NY, Sister-in-Law Linda Gibbons of Scotia NY, grandchildren Scott Rothammer, Madison Cusick-Howat and Rebecca Coelho. Nephews Jim Gibbons, Don Gibbons, Bill Gibbons, Brendan Gibbons and Carter Gibbons of Scotia NY and Gregg Gibbons II (Sara) and grandniece's Ella Newman, Sophia Newman and Kelsey Gibbons of Essex Junction VT. She was predeceased by her brother Gregg Gibbons and sister Leslie Gibbons. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home, 112 Main St. East Hampton on Saturday May 31st from 12 noon until 2:00PM. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Please join us at Loco Pero (Banquet room) after the ceremony for food and drinks.
