Nancy Marie Guzie Giulietti of Marlborough passed away on August 5, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her soulmate Dave and their cherished son Nathan, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Nancy was born in Torrington on October 10, 1954, and lived there through her high school years.
Early in Nancy's career, she worked as a fixed income broker. Most recently, she truly enjoyed running a successful EBAY business.
Nancy and Dave's amazing and inspiring story began with a chance meeting through Nancy's dear friend Karen Coughlin at the 'Gold Building' in Hartford. This was just the start of an incredible journey that was formalized when Nancy married the love of her life on September 24, 1988. A beautiful ceremony and reception were shared with their closest family and friends.
The love story would grow with the birth of Nathan in July 1992. Nancy reduced her time in the workforce to dedicate her days to raising Nathan. Those years were a source of great joy for her as she and Nathan formed a strong lifetime bond (that was never more evident than throughout her illness).
Nancy enjoyed traveling, especially to her favorite Caribbean beach resorts and the beautiful coast of Maine. One of her favorite things to do was spend a relaxing day with her husband at Hammonasset Beach. Nancy was an avid snow skier enjoying the mountains of Vermont.
Nancy and Dave enjoyed many musical adventures together. Whether it was a show and a few nights at Mohegan Sun or just an evening at home watching classic and epic concerts while enjoying a cocktail or two. In addition to her legacy as being a phenomenal spouse and mother, Nancy will be remembered for her compassion, humor, and infectious laugh. She was a very sweet, patient woman who would enjoy a good laugh (mostly due to the antics of her husband).
Nancy admiringly relished spending time with her niece and nephew, Erin and Bryan Grenier.
Friends and family are invited to gather at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Avenue, Glastonbury at 10:00 a.m. on September 10, 2025. A celebration of Nancy's extraordinary life will take place in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. This will be followed by a reception at Glastonbury Hills Country Club, 239 Country Club Road, South Glastonbury.
