Nancy Taylor Obituary

Nancy (Johnson) Taylor, 80, of East Hampton, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025. Born on December 6, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Carlo Johnson and Mary (Flemke) Johnson. Nancy was a lifelong Connecticut resident who spent the last 20 years living on Lake Pocotopaug in East Hampton, where she found joy in hosting gatherings, cooking, and spending time with her beloved family. She retired from A&A Office Systems, where she worked as a secretary, and was well known for her love of crafts and her generosity in sharing her home and talents with others. A woman of faith, Nancy recently became a deacon at Marlborough Congregational Church. She cherished her church community and the friendships she built there. She held her friends close to her heart, especially her lifelong best friend, Barbara Goff, with whom she shared a special bond since second grade. Nancy was lovingly known as "Nana" to her family. She is survived by her son, Keith Taylor; granddaughter, Lindsey Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Luca and Josie Piatti. She was predeceased by her four sisters. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Marlborough Congregational Church, 35 South Main Street, Marlborough, Connecticut.
