Nexhdet Mulla

WATERBURY NEXHDET MULLA "Loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather" Nexhdet Mulla, age 85 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Saint Mary's Hospital. He was the loving husband of Sanije (Kamberi) Mulla. Nexhdet was born March 23, 1939 in Bilisht, Korce, Albania, a son of the late Osman and Nazime (Agastra) Mulla. Nexhdet earned his college degrees in Albania and served in the Albanian Army before immigrating to the United States in 2000. He was employed as a factory worker for several manufacturing companies before retiring. Besides his wife of Waterbury, he leaves his daughters Vjollca Demirali and her husband Raymond of Watertown, Entela Naska and her husband Foti of West Hartford, Alketa Banaj and her husband Amarit of Watertown, a sister Shpresa Ismaili and her husband Agim of Albania, six grandchildren Krystal Demirali and her husband Aron Gonzales, Douglas Demirali, Eliana Naska, Mikail Naska, Sibora Banaj and Roberto Banaj and a great grandson Lexon Montano, He was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. Arrangements: Funeral Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Burial will follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery.
