Norma L. DiMichele

Waterbury, CT Norma L. DiMichele "Loving mother, grandmother & sister" Norma L. (Gaspar) DiMichele, age 88, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Hartford Hospital with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas J. DiMichele. Norma was born on February 11, 1936 in Pawtucket, RI, a daughter of the late John and Luiza (Caetano) Gaspar. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for many of the hospitals and nursing homes in the area. She was a member of the Garden Club of Naugatuck, Knights of Columbus Golf League in Prospect and Peter & Paul Bowling League in Naugatuck. Norma also enjoyed playing cards and gardening. Norma is survived by her children, Susan Ciaralli and her husband, John of Waterbury, Steven DiMichele and his wife, Fernanda of Ormond Beach, FL, Donna Sardo and her husband, Albert of Waterbury, and David DiMichele and his wife, Glasiane of Meriden. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Nicholas Barbino and his wife Jenna, Stefanie Webb and her husband Nicholas, Jennifer Ciaralli, Alex Sardo, Priscilla DiMichele, Sarah DiMichele, Jacob DiMichele, Ella DiMichele, two great grandchildren, Anthony Barbino, Hallie Webb, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jacqueline Ann DiMichele, brother, John Gaspar and her sister, Otelia Mariotti. Arrangements: Calling hours for Norma will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, from 8:00 – 9:00 A.M. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway Waterbury, CT, to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. Burial of her cremains will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury.
