Patricia Bell Obituary

In Loving Memory of Patricia Eilish Bell December 3, 1946 – August 16, 2025 Patricia Eilish Bell, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully with her children by her side, at the most beautiful and tranquil place on earth - the Hospice of Connecticut in Branford. Born on December 3, 1946, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Eilish was the cherished daughter of Patrick and Elizabeth Bell. A proud Irish Catholic girl, she grew up in New Jersey with her two younger brothers, Michael Bell and Kevin (Beth) Bell and her best friend Bettie Ann Gavigan. Her upbringing shaped her deep devotion to family, her lively spirit, and her caring heart. In 1973, Eilish moved to Connecticut, where she lovingly raised her three children - Mark (Heather) Glazer, Brad (Maria) Glazer, and Joy (Michael) Dittmann. A dedicated and compassionate professional, Eilish spent many years working as a medical secretary, scheduling surgeries and supporting doctors with her trademark warmth, humor, and tenacity. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren: Michael, Kenny, Aislinn, Dillon, Burke, Gabe, Jadi, and Nash. Grandma never missed a chance to cheer them on. Whether at a hockey game, a play, an art show, or movie night at home, she was their biggest fan, always offering love, support, and a listening ear. In retirement, she filled her days with friendship, fun, and joy. She loved dancing, concerts, and was an active member of her local bowling league. She brought light and laughter to every room she entered, always with a twinkle in her eye and a beautiful smile. Eilish's legacy of love, humor, and unwavering devotion to her family will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Yesterday

Sincere condolences to the Bell family. I am Kathleen´s daughter and so Eilish, Michael and Kevin´s first cousin. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of Aunt Betty and uncle Pat´s visits to Newfoundland. We loved to see them come and it was always a fun time for us kids. We heard many stories of Mike, Kevin and Eilish. While I did not know your mom, her story told so well in her obituary touched my heart and reminded me of Uncle Pat. His humour and generosity was oviously a family trait. My mother and aunt Betty became close over the years. She, too was such a lovely person. Know that family is thinking of you across
the miles, hoping Eilish´s love for her family eases your grief and brings you both smiles and peace.

Yesterday

I was fortunate for many years to be a part of Eilish's wonderful ,welcoming, family and spent many holidays and attended many events with Eilish .She was always one of a kind and a special person in many ways. Her humor was not to be matched along with the love she had for her large ,beautiful. Irish family.A little woman that made a huge imprint in the world and I will always have her in my heart and am reminded of her every day whether it be a song because she loved live music,[ we often attended] or sharing friendship. Sleep tight Eilish and be at peace. You are loved by many.

Heaven has gained a beautiful angel.
Dearest Eilish,
I remember the walks we would take on our breaks at work, the fun you brought to the office on ST. Patricks Day and Halloween. The funny hats you would wear that brought a smile to our faces. The beautiful sense of humor you had, and the cake you picked up at the local supermarket to celebrate the last snowstorm for the season, in hopes Spring would arrive quickly. Love you lady. You will be missed by me and everyone who knew you. Heavens Angels are rejoicing to welcome such a beautiful loving soul

I worked with Eilish for couple years and hung out some. She was fun and a joy to be around.
