Patricia Moore

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia A. Moore on March 10, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on December 19, 1967, in Kingstree, South Carolina, Patricia moved to the greater New Haven area at the age of 13, where she built a life filled with love, strength, and resilience. She was the beloved daughter of Stellarine Kendrick and Clarence Moore. In 2005, she married Frankie Moore in New Haven, Connecticut, sealing a bond of love and unwavering partnership. Patricia was a devoted mother to nine children: Cassie Cherry of Scottsdale, Arizona; Stella Evans Gray and Ernester Gray of Phoenix, Arizona; and Jimmy Evans, Jessica Evans, Tabitha Evans, Tracey Biggs, Terence Biggs, and Jesse Oliver, all of New Haven, Connecticut. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Latoya Evans. Her legacy continues through her 14 cherished grandchildren, including Khloee Biggs, who brought her immense joy. She is survived by her siblings Beneath Kendrick, Jimmy Evans, and Asanga Kendrick. Patricia will always be remembered as a strong-willed woman with a fierce spirit. She never hesitated to speak her mind, yet her love and devotion to her family were unwavering. She expressed love in her own way-direct, honest, and deeply committed.
