Paul Lindsay Obituary

Paul Allen Lindsay, 64, of West Haven, passed peacefully on Saturday August 23, 2025, with his two sisters by his side. Born in Milford on December 8, 1960, a son of Joan (Fitzgibbons) Lindsay and the late Allen C. Lindsay Sr. In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by daughter Lindsey Reeves and five grandchildren of Nashville; sisters Christina (Edward Merola) Lowry of West Haven and Loni (Allena) Lindsay of Branford; half-brother Jeff Lindsay of California; niece Rose Helena of East Haven; nephews George (Alyx) Longyear of Plymouth and Ryan A. Lowry of West Haven; and the Sunshine in his life, great-nephew, Rhys Longyear. Paul was preceded in death by his half-brother Allen "Sonny" Lindsay Jr. Paul joined the Connecticut Classics Drum and Bugle Corp and participated for 4 years. He attended Johnson & Wales University's College of Food Innovation & Technology before joining the U.S. Navy for 8 years and working as a chef. He traveled the world doing what he loved, cooking. Paul settled in the Florida Keys for 25 years as a well-known chef before moving back to Connecticut. He was a member of the Elks Club and Moose Lodge. Paul had a great love for reading books on every subject imaginable. "Sweet dreams, love you MORE!!!" Arrangements were entrusted to West Haven Funeral Home at the Green, 662 Savin Avenue, West Haven, CT. All services were private.
