Paul Manzi Obituary

Paul A. (Paulie) Manzi (1936-2025) walked uphill both ways for the last time on May 20th, 2025. He was the loving husband of Beverly Mastalerz for 63 years, who if you were lucky enough to catch them, could ballroom dance your socks off. Paulie grew up in the South End of Springfield, going on to coach baseball and football for the local kids. After serving in the Army, he worked for the US Postal Service for 35 years before retiring in 1991. He was an avid Yankees fan and loved UConn Women's Hoops. He loved taking his wife to the casino despite never winning anything, and spent his last few months reminiscing about playing ball with his childhood friends. Paulie is survived by his wife Beverly, his children Paula Campisi, Paul Manzi, and Michael Manzi, and his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Antoinette Scibelli, his father Andrew S. Manzi, his brothers Louis Manzi, Dominic "Mickey" Manzi, Andrew "Junie" Manzi, his sister Ursula Gulluni, his niece Donna Manzi, and his nephew Dominic Manzi. One of Papa's favorite pastimes during winter storms was calling his grandkids to tell them his snowman was the biggest and you could see it from space! His grandkids will miss his calls and his tireless sense of humor that he passed on to them. The family requests that services be private.
