Ramonita Bonet

Ramonita Bonet, 76, beloved wife of the late Bartolome Bonet Sr., passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Connecticut Baptist Home after a long illness.
Born in Aguada, Puerto Rico, on October 9, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Francisco Correa Bonilla and Ana Cecilia Gonzalez. She was a longtime Meriden resident.
She had a deep love for the outdoors, the beach, and traveling. She enjoyed shopping, coloring, and crafting, but above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren.
Ramonita is survived by her six sons: Bartolome Bonet Jr., William Bonet, Mariano Lopez, Eduardo Lopez, Treizy Lopez, and Carlos Lopez; three grandchildren: Kayla Malkowski, Daysha Bonet, and Isaiah Bonet; and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind two sisters, five brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 250 Gypsy Lane, Meriden, CT 06450. All are kindly asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
