Randolph Manulla Obituary

NEW HARTFORD - Randolph "Randy" Manulla, 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Virginia "Ginny" (Nufer) Manulla for 56 years. Born September 10, 1946 in New Britain; the son of the late Rocco and Johanna (DeMauro) Manulla. Randy grew up in Thomaston and graduated in 1964. He worked for The Hartford Courant as well as some local restaurants as a waiter and bartender. He then worked as a Jewelry and Antiques Dealer until retirement. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends all over the country. In addition to his wife, he leaves three sons, Randy Manulla, Jr., of Thomaston, Christopher Manulla of MA and Stephen Manulla of New Hartford; sister, Lu Zazzaro and husband Mike close niece and nephew, Jennifer and Bruce; many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Our Lady of Hope Church in New Hartford at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, New Hartford. Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 5 Steele Road, New Hartford has care of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Randy's name to your favorite charity.
