Richard Case Obituary

1934 - 2025 Richard Miles Case was born December 1, 1934 to Lenson and Ella Betsy (Bacon) Case of Plainville, CT. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Evelyn Seravalli Case, who passed in 2022 and all eight of his siblings, Harlan, Howard, Clarence, Homer, Olive, Chester, Edward, and Ella. He joined his family and friends in heaven on August 7, 2025. Richard is survived by his children, Michael, Mark, Doreen and Doris and by his grandchildren, Christian, Abigail, Sarah, Christa, Daniel, Samantha and Alexandra and great grandchildren Jensen, Scarlet and Arlo. Richard was a high school football player, a US Army paratrooper, a Boy Scout troop leader, a furniture maker, an artist, a farmer and a handyman. He worked as the coop manager for both Raskin and Kof Koff egg farms. He was all those things so that he could be what was most important to him; a hard working husband, father and grandfather. Richard will be buried with his wife at the Veterans Cemetery in Middletown. A memorial service will be held on a date to be determined.
