Steven Kielb Obituary

On a quiet autumn day, September 18, 2025 Steven Kielb's journey came to a close at UConn Health center, leaving behind a legacy woven with laughter, love, and unwavering pride. Born on a bright summer morning in 1983, Steven entered the world with a spark that would never dim. He was a man who carried joy in his heart and mischief in his smile-a soul who could turn the simplest moment into a shared joke, a playful prank, or a memory that would live long after the laughter faded. Above all, Steven was a devoted father to his daughter Selina Kielb, a beacon of light in his life. He spoke of her with boundless pride, often boasting of her kindness, strength, and brilliance as if sharing the greatest treasure he had ever known. Selina was not only his daughter but the very essence of his hopes and dreams, a living testament to the man he was. Stevens' passion for sneakers was legendary; he had an eye for the rare, the stylish, and the pristine. He took such pride in keeping them spotless that even as a toddler, Selina would worry about dirty shoes. She learned early that scuffed soles were serious business in the Kielb house as funny sweet reflection of their bond and the playful influence he had on her from the very start . Steven's life was touched deeply by love and loss. He was predeceased by his mother, Jaqueline "Jackie" Kielb, whose memory remained a quiet strength within him. Now reunited with her, Steven's spirit is at peace, embraced once more by the love that first shaped him. In his final moments, Steven was surrounded by his daughter and a close-knit circle of friends, those chosen family members who stood by him with unwavering support and love. Their presence was a reflection of the many lives he touched, each one carrying a piece of his humor, kindness, and indomitable spirit. Steven didn't just make people laugh he made them snort, cry and occasionally, walk out of the room shaking their heads. His pranks were legendary (and mostly harmless) his sense of humor delightfully off beat. Being around him meant letting your guard down and laughing harder than you meant to. He reminded us life's too short to take seriously and lived that with joy and the right amount of mischief. Though he has left this world, Steven's memory remains alive in the laughter he inspired, the love he nurtured, and the countless hearts he touched. May his story be told and retold, a light that guides and comforts all who loved him. A celebration of Steven's life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver Street, Middletown, CT 06457. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and share in remembering the joy he brought to our lives. Rest in peace, Steven. Your laughter echoes on.

Earlier today

My buddy Steven, you will truly be missed. I still laugh about our jokes about the pronunciation of Boscov´s and the caramel joke. You´re flowing Goldilocks hair. Our weekends of working together and you would have our break room in tears laughing. Steven always talked about his sneakers. He had a passion for sneakers.May you rest in paradise

Yesterday

Walking the halls at work has been tough. Your laughter, your jokes, the smile on your face, our long talks and seeing all of that beautiful hair down your back has been and will truly be missed. I wish your beautiful soul nothing but peace. Love you Steven!

I miss you first off & the laughs & times we shared. Like funny moments that only you & I experienced. The talks & advice we gave one another. Even if we knew we still would do what we wanted. It hurts to know I won’t get a call or text from you. Gone way to soon & taken from this world to early. You’ll always be remembered no matter what.
